What caused the Teflon and PVDF extended delivery

Throughout the last year, the industry has experienced more difficulties than I've come across inside my 30 years experience. In the past I have seen sharp price increases, and I have observed several shortages, and delivery issues as a result of plastic resin allocations coming from resin vendors. This is actually the first instance I have seen all these issues at the same time.

PTFE Rod (TFE) and PVDF are both on allocation.
